He is in Falmouth, MA - I don't have a good way to check up on him from down here, do you know where I could get any info on this individual or his business? I am afraid I am being scammed. Know how to contact BBB or the police? Thanks, J

of Bourne said... I am an animal lover. I want to let that be known before I sound off. I am very curious to know why we are paying the taxes to keep a dog catcher employed in this town! They don not "catch" dogs. We have a completely fenced in yard. We have never let our Rottweiler loose (although once the back gate was left open and she did get out, though to her credit she came right to the front door and scratched to be let back in!) In our neighborhood there are 4 dogs that continuously are loose. They roam about freely day and night. Ruining the front lawn I take such care to keep nice, teasing my dog as the walk over her "territory", not to mention the dangerous things that can happen to them! (being hit by a car or even stolen)
She is in season again and we have dogs literally digging holes under our stockade fence to try and mate with her. We caught one such dog, trapped it on our prch and call the dog catcher, who politely told us to let it free and that she would not take it because it posed no harm!!!
#1. If my dog ahd been loose there is no doubt in mind that some one would surely call to have it picked up immediatly. And I can guarentee that the dog catcher would take it simply because of the breed.
#2. I had 13 stitches down the side of my face because a Labrador took a chunk out of my cheek when I was achild. Breed means nothing! As with children, it is how you raise them!
#3. "Doing no harm" Bull! She became pregnant last season because a terrior dug his way in and mated with her! She lost her pups 6 weeks into it and, Honest to God, was severly depressed about it for weeks! Not to mention the fact that a $1,500.00 champion Rotweiler loses its AKC potential by mixed breeding. It can do a lot of harm!
We take the time and money to keep her safe and the laws abided by- always on a leash if she is ever out, pooper scooping ect.- Why the heck aren't the people who
are breaking the law seeing any reprecussions for their actions?
