The Town of Falmouth consists of the villages of Falmouth, E. Falmouth, W. Falmouth, N. Falmouth, Waquoit, Woods Hole. Falmouth has managed to preserve much of the charm of a rural New England town with its Main Street and Village Green. The town offers historic inns, convenient daily ferry trips to Martha's Vineyard, and several great beaches including Old Silver, Falmouth Heights and Wood Neck. Other sites of interest include the Falmouth Playhouse, Nobska Light and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute.
